The Sabre 27 is a substantial sea going cruising yacht which I feel never achieved the popularity that it deserved. She was rather overshadowed by the ubiquitous Westerly Centaur which had entered the market place first and had built up a loyal following and solid reputation. However, the Sabre is more modern, possibly more handsome, and in the fin keel version would offer rather better performance. She has been maintained to a good standard with the fore and backstay replaced in 2006 and part of the running rigging being replaced in 2008. Looks like a good yacht for the money - a viewing could decide that one for you!
